Rooted in Rochester is an environmentally-focused community listening campaign open to all Town of Rochester residents. Residents will be able to submit their local project ideas through the end of February 2026 and vote on their favorites in the spring.
This project stems from the simple idea that regular people should have a say over the decisions that impact their lives. This non-partisan initiative was designed to give people the opportunity to say what they care about most and identify shared priorities through a community vote.
Between October 2025 and February 2026, residents will be able to submit community project ideas and additional information through this online form, at one of our events, or via email at info@rootedinrochester.org. If you’re not ready to submit a project idea, you can share your thoughts through this survey.
Your community project ideas will be assembled and included in a town-wide ballot, where Town of Rochester residents will be invited to vote on their favorite local project idea. When the vote is in, the results will be shared with the Town Board.
